Biltmore Lake Residents File Lawsuit Challenging
Asheville Annexation
On
Friday, October 19, 2007,
the residents of Biltmore Lake filed a lawsuit challenging the
involuntary annexation by the City of Asheville. The claimants bringing
the suit numbered over 300, clearly demonstrating a significant level of
support by the community.

Annexation
The collective efforts of the Biltmore Lake neighborhood to fight
Asheville’s forced annexation have culminated in a lawsuit being readied
to be filed in Superior Court no later than October 19.

December 31, 2007.
If we don’t file a lawsuit challenging this – and we must file by
October 20 -- everyone owning property in
